Chairman Message

The ICC UAE Chapter was established in 2004 under the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry with the support of local chambers to foster a healthy and competitive economic environment and to give the UAE businesses the opportunity to be a part of the global ecosystem.

In the last 12 years of its existence, the UAE Chapter which represents the commercial, industrial and business enterprises in the country at a global level along with the Paris-based International Secretariat of ICC, promoted the scope and reach of the UAE business community around the world.

Besides serving its local members with the wide range of ICC product and services, the UAE Chapter also hosts international events and business meetings for exchange of experiences and knowledge. It regularly organises briefing sessions, training workshops and seminars on banking, arbitration, customs and trade facilitation as well as online training for business owners, managers and representatives from the export, logistics, legal and arbitration sectors.

We proudly continue to play our role to fulfil the mission of the ICC when it was set up in 1919 by promoting peace and prosperity and bringing down barriers to do business globally. Today, the parent body’s global network of members has grown to over 6.5 million from 130 different countries and nationalities, offering its members the opportunity to communicate with more than 12,000 chambers of commerce and industry globally.

With our mission and vision to let UAE businesses to voice their interests worldwide and to promote the market economy system based on the principles of free and fair competition among business enterprises, the ICC UAE Chapter introduces the policies advocated by the ICC to the UAE government and its agencies as well as their benefits for the local members to have the opportunities to be part of the world economic practice, an essential element for the success of global trade.
